CAD Drawings

Assist CAD services involves creating a consistent set of CAD drawings of each individual building that requires a survey. We can supply the client with both electronic and paper copies, all drawings can be produced at scale, ranging from 1:50 to 1:500 with data supplied in hard or soft copy (AutoCAD DWG/ PDF).

All our surveys meet the requirements of Architects and Designers undertaking store refit, planned extensions and refurbishment.

Levels of detail can range from basic dimensions including openings to fully detailed surveys. Our surveyors areequipped with a Leica Bluetooth laser and a handheld computer and can carry out any size or shape of a building survey. As the plans are produced on a computer on-site, it lowers the chances of errors. Window, door and ceiling height details can be stored as well to help with the production of accurate sections and door/window schedules.

Our typical products include floor plans, site plans, roof plans and elevations. Our surveyors have extensive experience producing plans in buildings ranging from single small terraced houses to 140,000 sq ft schools/academies. Recently Assist successfully completed 360,000 sq metres for The Highland Council, this contract included Primary, High schools and Academies.

GEA, GIA and NIA calculations can also be provided along with the drawings.

All our measured CAD surveys can be followed up with an asbestos survey and safe removal of any asbestos if found.
